The top 5 patios in Toronto to check out this summer

The heat is on in the city and the quest to find the best patios in town is in full swing. We’ve noticed rooftop patios keep on popping up in the city but we needed a definitive list of the top 5 spots to check out this summer. Disclaimer: The below spots are not in an order of any kind.

And here we go:

Lavelle

One of the more popular patios in the city, this one comes with a fantastic bar set up and rooftop pool, along with insane views of the city.

This restaurant located right in King West will suit your patio needs. Take your day into night with a dip in the pool, a lounge and cocktail in a private cabana, contemporary French creations by chef Romain Avril for dinner, ending the night by rubbing shoulders with Toronto’s finest at the bar.

Kost Toronto

Some may confuse this since it sits on top of the Bisha Hotel, but make no mistake, Kost is one of Toronto’s premier patios, and has some of the best seafood.

Kost is a 44th floor rooftop restaurant and bar from hospitality leader ICONINK, featuring unparalleled panoramic views of the city from Toronto’s BISHA Hotel. Inspired by the Baja Peninsula, Executive Chef Ben Heaton unites the bright, fresh and lively flavours of the Californian coastline by way of colourful dishes and refreshing cocktails. Kōst welcomes guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Thompson

This hotel with a gorgeous rooftop patio set up sits right in King West. Expect this spot to be busy all summer long with their lovely bar set up and location, which gives some of the best skyline views of the city.

Guests can take in panoramic views of the city from the Rooftop Lounge & seasonal pool, enjoy the contemporary setting of the Lobby Bar for an after-work cocktail, and dine in comfort in the Thompson Diner open really early and really late.

The One Eighty

Up next is the tallest rooftop patio set up we have in the city. The One Eighty boasts skyline views right from the 51’s floor of the Manulife Centre in Yorkville.

Great views, great food and great company, The One Eighty is conveniently located in Yorkville, but this entire experience will require a few pretty dollars.

The Chase

Located right in the heart of the Financial District, this restaurant boasts some of the best seafood you can have on top of Toronto.
